When the design team at Signature Leather decided to add a
halter and shank to its collection their first priority was to ensure that
Signature halter makers would be able to match the quality
and service our equestrians had become accustomed to.
To this end the design team travelled to both Europe and the
USA to seek out the skills and production
techniques of leather artisans on both sides of the Atlantic that could weave our design into the finest halter and matching shank.
In Lexington Kentucky we found the ideal partner in the
studios of Equestrian Classics who have for over a quarter of
a century serviced the pride of the thoroughbred sales arenas,
racing stables and breeding sheds throughout the world.
Our designers were particularly impressed with the traditional techniques employed by the craftsmen at Equestrian Classics. In particular, taking Signature design and by working the leather “in case” or wet a Kentucky tradition created what we believe are the finest halters we have seen.
The form and feel is in our view second to none and we are therefore delighted to introduce our customers to the Signature Halter, Shank and matching dog collars and leads which are available padded with any of the 50 plus colors from our glove range.
